Dr. Kaye is the International Projects Coordinator for Assuta Medical Centers, as well as a member of the core team for implementing digitally enabled integrated care in Assuta Ashdod Hospital. Dr. Kaye is the Assuta manager of the H2020 CONNECARE project. Dr. Kaye was the Deputy Director of the Medical Department (1984-2003) of Maccabi Healthcare Services and was the Medical Department Leader and counterpart to the IT department for the development and implementation of IT systems until the creation of the Medical Informatics Department. Dr. Kaye established The Maccabi Institute for Health Services Research in 2004 and was the Director of the Institute until 2013. The Institute was an active participant In European Framework Projects (FP7 and AAL) such as KSERA, HELP, REMPARK, USEFIL all of which involved remote monitoring and coaching of elderly people in their homes. Dr. Kaye is a member of the Board of Directors of EHTEL (the European Health Telematics Association).

Vít Voženílek was one of the first who systematically implemented computer technology into geography after the fall of communism in the 1990s. In addition to focusing on modeling of spatial phenomena (especially geographic processes), he took the lead in Czech thematic and atlas cartography based on applications of geographical information systems. Vít founded the Department of Geoinformatics at Palacky University Olomouc in 2001 and is still its head. He is a professor of geoinformatics, the most cited Czech cartographer and Vice-President of the International Cartographic Association.

Dr. Mark Milton-Edwards (UK, TEVA Pharmaceuticals)

Mark is responsible for the Product & Health Solutions within Digital Health at TEVA Pharmaceuticals. Over ten years with TEVA and prior to that sixteen with AstraZeneca. Mark has held various positions including R&D Project Leader, VP Sales & Marketing, Strategic Planning & Business Development, and Global Brand Lead. Graduated in Aeronautical Sciences and completed his MBA at Durham University, UK. During his career he has led technology & especially inhaler development teams through engineering, CMC characterisation, clinical evidence generation, registration within US, EU and International Markets and ultimately to successful global launch. Total Brand Leadership value >$2.5bn. Mark has numerous patents granted and pending in electronic communications, sports technologies, inhaled pharmaceutical development, and respiratory physiological function & predictive AI. Mark is the inventor of Digihaler®, the first FDA approved digital inhaler with built-in sensors.

He obtained his master’s degree in technical cybernetics – medical biocybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague and postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, specialization for management of health service organizations at The Nottingham Trent University. He has several publications in the area of management and informatics in healthcare. He currently works as director at NCEZ, which is the national e-Health authority under the Ministry of Health. Ron Lindner joined Elad Health in 2009,  starting 2011 for 6 years Ron acted as the CEO of Elad Systems and Elad Health. Klára is currently employed as IT project coordinator and lawyer at the Vysočina Region Regional Authority of the Czech Republic and is responsible for the implementation of the Czech National Contact Point for eHealth.

Vered Rosenberg, MSc (Maccabi)

Vered Rosenberg is senior researcher at Kahn-Sagol-Maccabi Research & Innovation Institute, Maccabi Healthcare Services. She is responsible for studies conception and design, data collection and processing, statistical analysis, scientific writing, conferences presentations. Her main research topics are pharmacoepidemiology, rheumatic and auto-immune condition and asthma. She earned a BSc in Pharmacy from the Hebrew University and accomplished MSc in epidemiology at Tel-Aviv university.
Prof. Liberman is one of the founders of the IDC Herzliya in Israel and served as the Vice Dean of The Arison School of Business. She leads the MBA in Healthcare Innovation Program. She is the Head of Judgment and Decision Making area and the director of the Mathematical and Statistical studies at the IDC. Her research interest deals with probabilistic judgments and decision making in which she co-authored the book Critical Thinking with the late Amos Tversky. As an expert on decision making, Prof. Liberman gives lectures and executive training courses for Israeli organizations such as banks, investment companies and the Israel Defense.

She worked over 15 years´ in international organizations (World Health Organization in 1999 – 2009 and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control in 2009 – 2014) where she gained know-how in health development and global public health. Since 2016 she has been teaching public health in General Medicine, Dentistry and Public Health programmes at the Faculty of Medicine

Ass. Prof. Alena PETRAKOVA has over 30 years experience in global health. She is a medical doctor with postgraduate specialty diplomas in paediatrics, medical genetics and public health, and Ph.D. degree in medical sciences. She has long-term experience in education of health professionals at both national and international levels (School of Public Health in the Czech Republic, European Training Consortium in Public Health). She worked over 15 years´ in international organizations (World Health Organization in 1999 – 2009 and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control in 2009 – 2014) where she gained know-how in health development and global public health. Since 2016 she has been teaching public health in General Medicine, Dentistry and Public Health programmes at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Palacký University in Olomouc. She is Past-President of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and a member of the on EUPHA Working Group on EUPHA strategy 2020 – 2025. She is former member of the Executive Board of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER) and since November 2017 Co-Chair of the ASPHER V4 (Visegrad countries) interest group.

He is an expert at the National Center of eHealth (NCEZ) of the Ministry of Health and is developing scientific and research capacities at the National Telemedicine Center (NTMC) of the University Hospital Olomouc.
